Census

Several types of censuses were conducted in Kansas. The Federal government conducted territorial censuses from 1855 to 1859, and it was included in the 1860 Federal Census as a territory. Kansas had state censuses in 1865, 1875, 1885, 1895, 1905, 1915, and 1925. And there are  Indian censuses for the tribes of Kansas. See the resources below for more information.
