Former Resident Dead

Mr. John Davis, who was a resident of Edgerton for many years, died Wednesday of last week at the home of his son-in-law, Lewis Miller, about 5 miles north of town, of senility. Mr. Davis was nearly 90 years old and was quite well known to the people of Edgerton and vicinity and was highly respected. The funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. Miller last Friday and the remains interred in the Clearfield cemetery. Mr. Davis leaves an aged wife and five children, and numerous other relatives and friends to mourn his demise. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
