This old cemetery is well maintained, and significant work goes into its care. Several years ago, the Spring Hill cemetery was struck by a tornado and suffered significant damage to many stones. As pieces of stones are uncovered naturally, a local volunteer specialist carefully re-sets them on a concrete pad to preserve them. The cemetery also suffers occasional bouts of vandalism, and some stones are badly eroded.
See the Spring Hill Cemetery Association for more information.
