Section 26, Township 12S, Range 22E
According to local history, the Cedar Junction Cemetery was used during a virulent small pox epidemic. The cemetery was located at Cedar Junction near the Kaw River. During a flood and slight course change, the cemetery was washed out and destroyed. Gravemarkers that were left behind that could be found were moved to a new location on higher ground. The new location of the salvaged markers proved to be in the way of the construction of K-10 Hwy and the location of those markers are now unknown. No cemetery records have been found.
